Will Saphir Renovateur and Crema Alpina be restocked at Franco’s in the future?
Thanks.

Yes….we are waiting for a 50 dz. re-order, and Franco’s will re-stock from that delivery.
Thanks!

Hi Ron,
Regarding treating the Chromexcel leather. I’m confused about the whole thing. I heard that a good treatment is either the Venetian Cream for conditioning and luster, and neat’s foot oil is also considered suitable. What about the Saphir Renovateur and Crema Alpina?
Please advice.

Hi Ike –
Thanks for the note. For CXL, I recommend Dubbin from Saphir. It is perfect for greasy leathers like CXL, and any ‘pull-up’ calfskins.

Ron,
I do appreciate your reply and recommendations. I just filled up an order (at Franco’s) for the Dubbin as well as other products from Saphir MDO. I couldn’t find the Renovateur. Are you not stocking it anymore, or is there is a replacement for it. Thanks,
Ike Zach

Good deal – thanks! Renovateur will be back in stock shortly….large shipment leaving any time from France. There should be some out there at Leffot, Hanger Project, On the Fly or A Suitable Wardrobe though.

Ron,
While we on the subject of leather and shoe treatment. I have a new pair of Gravati Peccary Chukka dark brown. It doesn’t fall very well into the brown family. It is a very supple soft leather. One of the most comfortable shoes a person can own. Should I use the Renovateur cream instead the brown cream. Or is there something else.
Please advice,
Ike
