I did request one change…..I asked that the pattern include 9 eyelets, instead of the previous 5 + 4 pattern. Six in one, half dozen the other to me, but some clients have asked for full eyelets, so I thought I would try it out and see what the reaction is.

Can you explain what you mean by having 7 eyelets instead of the 4+3? I’m confused because the photo shows 5 metal eyelets and 4 speedhooks. Thanks.

Oh…..well, that’s me rushing! Sorry – meant to say 9 eyelets instead of 5 eyelets + 4 speed hooks.

The speed hooks on my bal boots caught on my suit trouser cuff inner stitching the other day. I had to be careful every time I sat down. I’ll probably want full eyelets on my next pair of boots so I can wear them with trousers that were sloppily hemmed and cuffed.
